A Love Letter from God

(Beginning)

I love you when you're busy and don't notice that I'm there.

I love you when you're tired'too exhausted to even care.

I love you when you're worried, when you're doubtful of what I say.

I love you when you're fretting, though I've told you things will be okay.

I love you when you're mistrustful, and take matters in your own hands.

I love you when bad decisions often change the course of my plans.

I love you when you're angry and your words are less than kind.

I love you when you're compassion is sometimes hard to find.

I love you when you're hurting and you feel that I'm unfair.

Even when you feel abandoned, and you think that I don't care.

I love you when you believe all the lies that you've been told.

I love you in your indifference, when .pressing on. starts getting old.

*************************

(End)

How do I define my love for you.how can I explain?

It defies all of your logic and goes against the grain.

My love is not based on what you may say or do,

But that's one fact I seem to have a problem getting through.

My love is not a list; it's not like Santa's clause;

The reason that I love you, is simply .just because..

I love you no more when your goodness may prevail,

And I love you no less, when you may do nothing but fail.

My love for you is constant; that's what this letter is all about.

This love cannot change, and I want you to have no doubt.

So, how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways:

From beginning to end.all of your days.
